Tracy Walder is a former CIA officer and FBI special agent who has become a national security expert, author, and television personality. She is best known for her memoir “The Unexpected Spy,” which traces her path from college student to frontline roles in U.S. intelligence and law enforcement. After government service, Walder transitioned to teaching History, National Security and Criminal Justice, then moved to public-facing national security work and media.

She appears as herself in documentaries such as Netflix’s “American Manhunt: The Search for Osama bin Laden” and in projects examining the CIA, 9/11, and modern terrorism, where she speaks from her experience inside the Counterterrorism Center. She is also featured in factual and investigative series, including Discovery’s “Lost Monster Files” and other programs where she analyzes intelligence, security, and unexplained events as a former CIA and FBI professional. She has also appeared on major news and talk shows including “Good Morning America,” “Fox & Friends,” CBS, MSNBC, BBC, NPR, and various other national outlets to discuss terrorism, intelligence, geopolitics, and law enforcement.

She also serves as a national security contributor for NewsNation, offering analysis on current events involving intelligence and security issues. Lastly, she is currently a contributor on the Allegedly Podcast on Netflix.
