About PAVE Studios:
PAVE Studios is setting the stage for a better way of producing, distributing, and consuming the world's greatest original content, all while empowering creators, simplifying content discovery, and fostering vibrant fan communities. We’re home to three genre-specific studios OpenMind, Crime House, and Rewind, and partners with some of the world's top creators to develop premium content across video, audio, live experiences, merchandise, and more. By bringing together creators, content, and community, PAVE is paving the way for a new era in media.
Overview:
PAVE Studios is seeking a passionate Marketing Coordinator to help grow listeners and viewers across our Crime House, Rewind, and OpenMind brands. You'll contribute to the promotional engine behind our shows, including cross-promotions, feed drops, host swaps, paid campaigns, and launch pushes, and you'll help decide where the next listeners and viewers come from. You'll dig into the numbers to figure out what's working, then turn those findings into recommendations our show and talent teams can act on.
This role is ideal for someone who thinks in both spreadsheets and story. You're as comfortable pacing a paid budget as you are pitching a creative angle for a launch. You're organized enough to keep a dozen promo placements moving at once, curious enough to notice when a show is breaking out, and driven by the challenge of turning casual listeners and viewers into loyal fans.
Responsibilities
Execute internal and external cross-promotional campaigns end to end, from sourcing and pitching partners to writing copy and managing the promo calendar.
Build and maintain strong relationships with external podcast partners, networks, and creators.
Track cross-promo impressions and swap balances, and report on delivery against committed volumes.
Coordinate editorial submissions for platform partners such as Apple Podcasts, Spotify, and Amazon Music.
Write marketing copy, host-read promo scripts, and campaign briefs.
Assist with planning and running paid media across podcast, social, and video.
Help define target audiences, messaging, and channel strategy for new and existing shows.
Build and maintain launch timelines and marketing checklists for new shows, seasons, and major episodes.
Coordinate marketing asset needs across production, design, and social.
Analyze audience metrics and trends across podcast platforms, YouTube, and social to identify growth opportunities.
Find ways to streamline and automate campaign processes, reporting, and other recurring operational work.
Preferred Skills, and Abilities:
2-4 years of experience in marketing, growth, audience development, or a similar role.
Marketing, media, entertainment, or podcast background strongly preferred.
Experience managing partnerships, working with creators, or client relationships.
Strong analytical skills, including comfort building trackers, working in spreadsheets, and interpreting performance data.
Familiarity with podcast analytics platforms, YouTube Studio, and project management tools.
Excellent communication, writing, and interpersonal skills.
Comfortable juggling several campaigns, deadlines, and internal stakeholders at once without losing the thread.
Proactive and always looking for ways to improve systems and processes.
Interest in true crime, history, and pop culture content.
Physical and Mental Demands:
Comfortable working under tight deadlines and breaking news cycles
Capacity to work with sensitive subject matter including graphic or traumatic cases
Ability to work on-site in Los Angeles, in a fast-paced production studio
Flexibility for early mornings, evenings, or weekend coverage as needed
Ability to stand and sit for extended periods of time
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds in a safe and prudent manner
Ability to work and communicate well with other employees, management, individuals well-known to the public, creators, and studios
Ability to perform work utilizing manual dexterity of the hands
Ability to reach above and below shoulders, bend, stoop, squat, crouch, climb, kneel, push and/or pull, and twist
Ability to read, write, and understand English
Benefits:
100% employer-paid Medical, Dental, and Vision (employee-only coverage)
Competitive Paid Time Off
Floating Holiday Time
Paid Company Holidays
Sick Leave in accordance with California law
